Detailed programme of the training period.
Week I
- Day 1: the participant will visit the host unit and will be familiarized with the place where the practice stage will be organized. The internal rules will be presented. Mixt Romanian and Spanish work teams will be formed. An instructing session will be realized for the participant at the place where the practice will be made in order for the work security, work-hygiene and work-conditions from a Spanish hotel unit to be respected.
- Day 2: the participant under the guidance of the tutor will investigate information sources that are specific for the tourism industry.
- Day 3: the participant under tutor’s guidance will effectuate the practice activity (receiving the tourists). The participant will learn and use different ways of greetings for tourists’ receiving at the hotel.
- Day 4: Under the guidance of the tutor, the participant will effectuate activities at the reception of the hotel.
- Day 5: Under the guidance of the tutor the participant will do activities in hotel’s rooms. The intermediate evaluation of the practice stage will be organized. The participant will present a personalized offer for tourists and the participant will also do a practical activity at the hotel’s reception.
Week II
Options
- Day 6: The participant, under the guidance of the tutor, will do activities in the rooms of the hotel.
- Day 7: under the guidance of the tutor, the participant will do activities at the hotel’s restaurant. The participant will help at the transportation of the food (from the restaurant) in safe conditions
- Day 8: The participant under the guidance of the tutor will realize activities at the hotel’s restaurant. The participant will arrange the dining hall and will also arrange the dishes on the tables.
- Day 9: The participant under the guidance of the tutor will realize activities at the reception of the hotel. The participant will take and register tourists’s bookings at the hotel.
- Day 10: The participant under the guidance of the tutor will effectuate activities at the reception of the hotel. The participant will register the bookings of the tourists and will accommodate tourists in the hotel.. The intermediate evaluation of the mobility will be organized. The participant will present the registering modality of a tourist in the computer system of the hotel and how the accomodation documents are registered.

Week III
- Day 11: The participant under the guidance of the tutor will realize activities at the reception of the hotel and in the main lobby. The participant will arrange the furniture from the lobby, will clean with the vacuum cleaner the lobby, will clean the floor using disinfectant.
- Day 12: The participant under the guidance of the tutor will realize services for the clients of the hotel.
- Day 13: The participant under the guidance of the tutor will realize activities at the lobby of the hotel. The participant will guide the tourists to their rooms, will facilitate the storage of the luggages at the reception until the tourists will leave the hotel.
- Day 14: The participant under the guidance of the tutor will realize activities at the reception of the hotel. The participant will accommodate tourists, will receive tourists’ bookings, will receive payment from tourists and will release payment confirmations to the tourists. The participant will complete a daily individual worksheet.
- Day 15: The participant under the guidance of the tutor will realize activities at the reception of the hotel. The participant will accommodate tourists and will register tourists in the hotel’s computer system. An intermediate evaluation of the stage will be organized. The participant will present an activity which will be effectuated at the reception of the hotel. The participant will accommodate tourists and will present to them a personalized offer of the hotel.

Week IV
- Day 16: The participant under the guidance of the tutor will do the following practice activities: – The inventory of the necessary objects for mise-en-place.
- Day 17: the participant under the guidance of the tutor will do the following practical activities: – Will make different types of mise-en-place adapted to clients’ categories.
- Day 18: the participant under the guidance of the tutor will do the following practical activities: – Serving foods and non-alcoholic drinks respecting the orders of the clients
- Day 19: the participant under the guidance of the tutor will do the following practical activities: – Cleaning the tables from the dining room
- Day 20: the final evaluation of the stage will be organized. The final evaluation will be realized through a practical test where the participant will make practical activities at the reception of the hotel: the participant will register the tourists in the computer system of the hotel, will register the accommodation files and will present to the tourists a personalized offer with the services of the hotel.The participant will make for the tourists a visiting plan of Valencia. The participant will do practical activities at the restaurant of the hotel: serving, making payment bills and effectuate payments. After the final evaluation the participant will receive an Europass Mobility certificate.
